Prime SAT Cable Controller is the Sat-Kabel tap / tap-port controlling app for ISPs and telcos in NMS Prime — switch tap-port states via RKM, switch video encoder lines, and hunt ingress from NetElement controlling pages.
Who it is for: HFC / plant ops, network planners, and delivery teams with Sat-Kabel plant gear.
Main problem solved: control tap ports and video lines from NMS Prime instead of only on-site or out-of-band tools.

Is this general SNMP device controlling?
No. This app targets Sat-Kabel tap / tap-port and video-line control. Other SNMP controlling views remain with HfcSnmp.
Where do I configure RKM and video servers?
Global → Global Config → HFC (see SAT Cable Installation).
What NMS Prime version is required?
2.5.4 or higher, with HfcSnmp installed (per Installation).
