1.1. 1. Goto Provisioning –> NetGws

1.2. 2. Move mouse to top right corner and click to create a new CMTS

shows CMTS basic page

  1. select manufacturer and type (provides default CMTS configurations, included in the source code as linked HTML file, own templates are possible)

  2. (use command line to copy it to CMTS or drop it to TFTP server and then pull it from the CMTS)

  3. set name

  4. set IP

  5. optional: specify SNMP communities (if the IPs are to be queried about SNMP, see also analysis page)

1.3. 3. Click the Save button

shows CMTS page of the newly created device

  • page contains now windows on the right side for assigned IP-Pools, Config proposals, Cluster

  • symbol on the right side to the IP bar indicates whether the device is accessible from the provisioning server or not (
