How to assign a static public IP to a CPE

Select in the left sidebar and then click on modems.

Choose the desired modem and set the checkbox for "Public CPE" on the Edit Page.

After saving there will be the option available for assigning an endpoint to the cable modem on the right side.

If public CPE is set for the modem, click on the right to assign an endpoint

On the next page fill out the required field, check the checkbox for Fixed IP and insert an IP Address for the endpoint, then click on save.

Note: The MAC address must be the MAC of the CPE! (not of the modem)

Click on fixed-ip on the endpoint edit page and insert an ip address

If you go to Provisioning > Endpoints you will see your new endpoint.

To see if everything works you can head over to Provisiong > Modems, select the Modem from before and click on CPE Analysis at the top.

Here you can see the hostname you set for the endpoint in the Dashboard/Forecast panel.
